Mission 11: Birds of Prey - bug report

Hi baltic_dragon!

 

found 3 very minor bugs in M11 (not sure if they're DCS related or not)

 

spoiler alert for who didn't play this mission yet!

 

1.

 

 

When you first contact Shaefer on guard freq there's a couple of conversations back and forth between you, Shaefer and Overloard.

 

It comes a point where you ask Shaefer "what's your situation", you can read the text however no audio is played (I played this mission 3 times due being shot down and it happened on all 3 occasions).

His response plays normally (he goes on about being discovered and asks to take care of 2 vehicles outside the burning building).

 

The rest of the audio tracks are fine

 

 

The "bugs" below I think are connected to DCS AI pathfinding but I wanted to tell you anyway just in case

 

2.

 

 

Later on when Dodge 1-1 spots a school bus and a UAZ from the village located at KN959 698, are they supposed to drive on the road against Shaefer?

I remember the first time I played your campaign that eventually we had to engage them but this time they started to move within the village but then stopped and never reached the road. Is this intentional?

 

 

 

3.

 

 

When Shaefer is close to his extraction point there's a report from Dodge 1-1 of a convoy moving from the mosque in the valley toward Shaefer, however the convoy remains stuck near the mosque and doesn't move. (again suspect AI pathfinding here)

 

There's a choice for you to have Dodge 1-1 engage it with guns. If you choose to accept it then they go stupid and keep orbiting over it (again, I suspect DCS AI here).
