bumblebomb Posted May 1, 2020 Posted May 1, 2020 Hi all, the 3way switches: PATH/HDG/ALT and the outside pinky switch are wearing out. I hear the autopilot mode switch is only available from TM as the entire PCB so I guess rather costly. I'm good with the soldering iron, so what parts fit there?
Dreadwing Posted May 1, 2020 Posted May 1, 2020 (edited) It's a proprietary switch from all I could find. You need a spdt on-off for the radalt and EAC toggle, and the 3 way is on-off-on. All 3 are soldered directly to the pcb. Cost me $60 usd shipped to have a new one sent to me when my radalt switch went out. The good news is the AP and gear horn buttons are just 2 wires soldered to that board so if you can find a replacement button you might be able to save yourself some money. Edit: the 3 way pinky on the left grip is really easy to replace. I'll dig around and link the one I put in on mine. Edit 2: here you go https://www.digikey.com/product-detail/en/c-k/7107TPCBE/CKN11178-ND/3855870 I went with momentary on the aft position so I could pulse my exterior lights if I wanted to.
