While I get all forms of PTT modes (TX1, TX2, TX3, TX5), I'm having trouble with TX6.

VA does not show listening to TX6. Listening present for all others.

All modes have their assigned controller button DX1 = TX1, DX2=TX2.....

Although I get a audio que that I am pushing and releasing TX6, VA shows not listening.

Any help appreciated.

What are you trying to use TX6 to do (is it as per manual page 14)?

Windows 11 Home ¦ Z790 AORUS Elite AX motherboard ¦ i7-13700K ¦ 64GB Corsair Vengeance DDR5 memory @ 5600MHz ¦ Samsung 990 Pro 1TB SSD for OS, Samsung 980 Pro 2TB SSD for DCS ¦ MSI GeForce RTX 4090 Gaming X Trio 24GB ¦ Virpil WarBRD base with VFX grip, Thrustmaster A10c and F/A-18 grips ¦ VKB Gunfighter Mk4 and MCG Pro ¦ Thrustmaster Warthog Throttle ¦ VKB STECS Throttle ¦ Virpil TCS rotor base with Shark and AH-64D  grips ¦ MFG Crosswinds ¦ Total Controls Multi-Function Button Box ¦ Pimax Crystal

You still need to map the TX6 PTT to one of your controller buttons, not forgetting that you need to map it to both the press and release rows in the profile.

I'm using it for my additional commands in a daisy-chained profile, as it doesn't require the aircraft's radios to be activated.

Mapped to Button 6 on controller 1. Both Press and release. I want to use it for my own profile, but I can't seem to get it activate the VA listen.

I've found that in some modules TX6 is disabled with the PTT rotary switch in VAICOM settings in the Normal position. This is true even if it is mapped properly to a button. TX6 is greyed out. Same goes for TX5. I do not understand why TX6 would ever be greyed out since it isn't supposed to correspond to a radio.

You can re-enable it by changing the the rotary switch position to "multi."

Switching made no difference. I'm currently using F14, but issue present in all modules.

Thanks though

Greyman,

Got it figured.

Must be something in the profile button settings. ViocomCP shows no button release.

Closer look at TX6 button release shows issue."Shirtcut is invoked only when all keys are released" must be checked.

So the button was being seen as pressed and never released? changing that would do it, as i am fairly sure that the commands are only passed to DCS when the button has been lifted.

Good to see you have it sorted.

Yeah, as great as this plugin is, there is a lot to keep track of and if some thing is a miss it gets messed up.
