F16C - A10C as wingman

Hello,

 

I'm playing with the F16C and my friend with the A10c.

Is it possible for me to see him visually on my HSD? We're flying missions together and I find it hard to keep track of his position.

 

Is there a way for me to get his position update on my HSD?

 

I've did some research and Datalink wont work because the A10C uses SADL which isnt compatible (at least ingame) with my Link 16. Correct?

 

I've tried adding an AWACS that might give me his position, but no sucsess.

 

What am I missing here?

Doesn’t work (yet)

 

It’s odd that human-flown jets on a D/L can see AI flown jets, but not human flown jets.

Ah I see, for some reason I was able to see my friend in the A-10 with an AWACS around, only after I respawned.
