2IAEMetoBG Posted January 22, 2008 Posted January 22, 2008 S! all! I ave some questions about the ModMaker in modman, especially the CFG option. First i want to ask if it can edit MeInit. Then i want to ask an an example of how to replace a line in Meinit using the CFG. Thanks in advance!
X_Man Posted January 22, 2008 Posted January 22, 2008 The CFG only modifys code in the .cfg files (hench the name).
2IAEMetoBG Posted January 22, 2008 Author Posted January 22, 2008 I don't like this :(:( Thank you X_Man!
Kuky Posted January 22, 2008 Posted January 22, 2008 What if you rename meinit.ini to meinit.cfg? They are both text files, right... will it work then? 2IAEMetoBG Posted January 22, 2008 Author Posted January 22, 2008 Actually i tried, without renaming, but when i install the mod it deletes the content of MeInit or sometimes delete all after the line i want to change.
Azrayen Posted January 23, 2008 Posted January 23, 2008 Hi, I'm not sure that renaming the file is a good idea. Anyway, if you need more data on how ModMan do this or that, the simplest way should be to ask SkyPat on the Mod Manager Support Forum Cheers, Azrayen'

Skypat Posted January 23, 2008 Posted January 23, 2008 it's impossible... an XML file have not at all the same section (tree map) as .cfg file... section, subsection...etc... it's not a 'replace text' function.. forget it best regards Skypat
