Sickdog Posted May 21, 2020 Posted May 21, 2020 Hey guys, think I saw somewhere (maybe a GR video) where the LSO station allowed you to "walk" around a little, or maybe I'm imagining it. Anyone have any idea how to do that? I tried walking with the joystick just like you do after ejecting and hitting the ground, but nothing. Didn't see any new key bindings either for it. Wondering if I imagined it, dreamed it, or just wishing for it! If anyone has more info on this, be much appreciated it as I can't figure it out if it's truly an option. dawgie79 Posted May 21, 2020 Posted May 21, 2020 In VR you can. Don't know about pancake but I guess not. See Stingers vid, Jar walked around in VR. :)
Sickdog Posted May 21, 2020 Author Posted May 21, 2020 Yeah, I am VR, not pancake, but I like that description - haha. Assuming you've figured out how, mind shedding some light on it? Keyboard command? Secret handshake? TM Warthog, TPR, TM MFDs, Pimax Crystal, AMD Ryzen 9 7950X3D. ASUS ROG Crossair X670E Hero AMD X670, G Skill Trident Z5 DDR5 64GB
dawgie79 Posted May 21, 2020 Posted May 21, 2020 Haven't had the chance to try the SC myself yet, unfortunately. But according to the manual, you get transported to the LSO station with LALT-F9. I assume it's the same for VR but the nature of VR makes it so you can walk around. Just start walking in the real world. ;)

Guess I'll have to find about 200 extension chords. Bummer. TM Warthog, TPR, TM MFDs, Pimax Crystal, AMD Ryzen 9 7950X3D. ASUS ROG Crossair X670E Hero AMD X670, G Skill Trident Z5 DDR5 64GB

I guess in VR you can walk around at each one of them, because VR. So you can check out more parts of the boat. :)
