DCS Dedicated server issue

Hello All,

 

 

 

I have been running a DCS steam edition server for the past couple of weeks without issue using theDCS Updater GUI / Launcher Utility. After the most recent update upon attempting to start the server it no longer shows that the steam account that the game is attached to is playing the game, on top of this when I try and run the Persian gulf map on the server it now gives me the terrain not found error. It seems to me that when it is running the dcs.exe from the bin folder it is somehow not connecting to the steam account associated with the game and dlc downloads. To fix this issue I have tried to run the server through cmd rather than the utility however I have been running into the same issue. If anyone has any ideas on a fix or what is causing the issue I would appreciate the input.

Edite: The update today fixed this issue and it now works again.

Sorry, at the moment you have to run DCS.exe via Steam client.

Or use dedicated server mode with --norender option.

 

This will be fixed.
