Thumper152 Posted June 7, 2020 Posted June 7, 2020 Hey guy I'm reading through the 1945 Pilots Operating Instructions for the P-47. In the take-off procedures it says push the interconnected boost and throttle up to 30in/Hg then release breaks and open the throttle to the take-off stop. Is this stop modeled or something we can set a detent for? I was watching old WWII training films and it looks like the throttle on the older model 47's had a release lever to bring the power up in to the emergency zone.
