When flying in VR the image in the headset looks really bright and washed out vs. the 2d screen. Is there some setting when using VR that you guys use to help the contrast or brightness match the 2d screen better?

I almost thought the "bloom" was on, but it isn't.

They screwed up the VR gamma somehow in the latest patch.

I had to dial mine back to 1.5 to make things look normalish on my Reverb. It was at 1.8 pre Wednesday's patch and looked fine.

I am using neutral density photo filter ND4 (52mm, cheap china, but glass) glued onto HP Reverb VR lens adapter.

If you pause the sim while you're in the cockpit, one of the graphics settings you can adjust is Gamma. You'll see your Gamma adjustments instantaneously so you can set it exactly where it looks good to you.
