Lanzfeld113 Posted June 18, 2020 Posted June 18, 2020 1. After you hit either engine starter you can bring the thrust levers over the gate and add fuel right away. You don’t have to wait for any engine spool. The engine will always start perfectly. In real life this would usually result in either a hot start or a hung start. 2. The standby ADI is off in a bank angle. Go to NAV mode in your HUD and do a perfect 30° bank. Look at your standby ADI. It’s usually off by about 5° minimum.

Cepheus76 Posted June 18, 2020 Posted June 18, 2020 Regarding the engine start, it is quite possible that the Hornet features FADEC (I'm too lazy to check the NATOPS now). If that's true, fuel would only introduced into the engine when the RPM requirement is met, even if the throttle is brought out of fuel shut off before.
