Silkworm encyclopedia

I’m trying to fly a mission and I really like to study up on the threats.

 

The target is the launchers for the silk wood missile (HY-2).

 

So I go to the encyclopedia and nothing, I can’t find the darn thing.

 

Are all items listed in the encyclopedia? Where would I find the silk wood missile ?

 

Btw, not asking what they’re are / asking where to find them...

Silly question I'm sure, but I'm guessing you mean Silkworm rather than Silk Wood?

 

Anyhow, I've had similar problems when buildingn missions and tended to use places like Wikipedia https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Silkworm_(missile)

for information on weapon systems that aren't in the encyclopedia.

 

It's also annoyingly often that kit in the mission editor like aircraft armaments and ground equipment is known by a different name than in the encyclopedia. I'm guessing it's the case that one bunch of people are responsible for the encyclopedia and a different set for items in the mission editor & maybe they don't talk much about what they're going to call things.
