Hi everyone,

I am in the process of building my own panels for the F-16 and have designed a generic breakout board to be used with DCS BIOS and powered by an Arduino Nano. I took a lot of inspiration from Craig at mysimpit.co.uk.

The boards can be used as either a DCS BIOS Slave via the attached RJ-45 jack or a direct connection with USB.

I have some extras that I don't need at the moment, if there is interest I could sell them (assembled with nano) for cost plus shipping. I can supply the schematics and am also more than happy to help with programming the Arduino or connecting hardware to the board.

I would be very interested. How many of the boards do you have? Still in the early stages of my sim pit but could probably use a few to prototype with. Please send details. Thanks!

Hi PJ. I have 5 with Nanos at the moment and another 10 without. I have more Nanos on the way.

How much would you want for 4 of them (dollars) and are you powering the board thru the USB?

Thanks again!

Pete

Hi PJ,

The boards can be powered through the RJ45 or through the USB. It depends on how you want to use them. If you're going to use them as DCS BIOS slaves then best to use the RJ45 connector. Otherwise you can run a separate USB cable to each of them.

I can let you have them for 10 Euro/piece (I think that's about 11/12 USD) plus shipping from Austria.

You should be talking about about these in the Home Cockpits forum, plenty of people would be interested there

Cheers

Les

Sorry Les, my bad. Not a massive forum user. Is there any way to move the thread?

Thanks,

Grahame
