Lanzfeld113 Posted June 29, 2020 Posted June 29, 2020 (edited) I have A 9900K at 5 GHz and a 2080 TI overclocked with a SSD. When I am flying with my HP reverb there would be a mysterious stutter. I am constantly tweaking settings to try to get rid of it and I came across a possible setting that might make a difference if I’m not up to my neck in placebo. I had my cockpit displays set at 512 every frame. I might have noticed (Again, if I am not bat-shit crazy with placebo at this point) that sometimes the stutter would occur when I would pass my vision across one of my in cockpit displays in the FA-18. So I changed my in cockpit display setting to just 512 (NOT every frame). I flew a few missions online and I think it might be better as far as stuttering goes. If anyone is having “mysterious stutters” that you can’t quite put your finger on give this a try and please report back here. Edited June 29, 2020 by Lanzfeld113
Lanzfeld113 Posted June 29, 2020 Author Posted June 29, 2020 Oh..... I was running the DCS priority in “real time”. I just read on another thread that you should run it in “highest“ priority mode and not “real time”. Ugggggg
