EDIT

Been a while without responses, so a clue: Several of this type suffered at the hands of a US ally at some point before desert storm.

To whom it may concern,

I am an idiot, unfortunately for the world, I have a internet connection and a fondness for beer....apologies for that.

My bad... I still had the page up and I edited it without refreshing first :(

I picked up the clue on the AT-63 while looking at the Alpha Jet Wiki Page.

The AT-63 wiki page is here:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/FMA_IA_63_Pampa

In my haste to post, I typed the name of the upgraded IA 63 which is the AT-63.

Single canopy and engine is a giveaway.. IA 63.

Cammo pattern is a match to this:

Good job MVSGAS

No, you were first.

My initial guess was Alpha Jet at 9:55pm, you said IA 63 at 9:55pm, and I added AT-63 (which was wrong) at 9:57pm.

You are up, you deserve it

Well thank you sir, I will try to ask something, at the least, entertaining

What aircraft is this:

A) Mirage IIIE

B) Mirage V

C) IAI Nesher

D) FAA Dagger/Finger

And how can you tell the difference? :book: I hope you guys like it :D

I think the FAA Dagger/Finger

The clue is the position and number of edited-out markings :)

Just kidding... Air data probe under the nose and strakes on the upper tailfin.

Here is the original

Good enough for me

Your turn

PS

The clues were, paint scheme, probe below the nose (not on the tip like a Mirage III). Long skinny nose typical of Mirage V models, including Nesher/Daggers. Big antennas above and below the fwd fuselage ( all Nesher/Dagger photos I have seen got his antennas on the top and bottom, while the Fingers have the antenna only on the top) and the location of the erase markings on the fuselage. :smartass::D
