Record AVI - No engine sound in rendered video

As the title says.

 

 

When I render a video from a trk file (Record AVI function in the mission editor), the resulted file has great quality video, but no engine sound is present. Environmental sound can still be heard (cockpit beeps and wind, switch clicks, etc.), but no engine sound at all. AVI file, PNG, or Theora/Vorbis, same problem, whatever the plane.

 

 

I am on the latest open beta, though I first noticed the problem months ago on beta and stable. Steam Edition is also affected.

I repaired the installation folder, but the problem remains.

 

 

Any workaround?

I confirm I have this issue as well. Bumping this topic so that the devs can see it. It happens with any map, any mission, and presumably any plane.
