oho Posted July 14, 2020 Posted July 14, 2020 Does anybody use the orignal tiny throttle slewing button for radar or flir slewing? It is very difficult to catch a target, because I can't stopp fast enough when moving over it. If yes, what setting of X and Y axis for the two slew-Axis in DCS would you recommend? What I was was wondering: what is represented by the X Axis and what by the Y axis in the DCS config screen. When I configure the X Axis of the throttle (left to right) I have two axis that I can tweak, but what is what?
lxsapper Posted July 14, 2020 Posted July 14, 2020 One of the worst things about the Warthog is that ministick. Replaced mine with this: https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=200198 Having said that you can tweek the response curves to make it easier to use. The A-10C is pre configured to have it be pretty useable from default.
shu77 Posted July 15, 2020 Posted July 15, 2020 I recently did the same as LXsapper and it made a huge difference. If you are struggling I suggest scrolling through WAGS videos on youtube until you find his controller set up, he talks about the curve and saturation for the default stick in there and it did help with the original stick a lot. Buhli Posted July 15, 2020 Posted July 15, 2020 I replaced mine too, very easy to do and it works great now. Maybe the calibration tool on its own could help you, not sure. Buhli
oho Posted July 16, 2020 Author Posted July 16, 2020 Can I bind one of the POV-button like a mouse view in Target software to the tdc-axis, so that it moves not only left - right and up down but also diagonally. I managed to map the 4 directions to a mouse in target and I can see the mous moving diagonally, but in game I can't map this mouse movement to the tdc-axises.
