No vehicle shadows for Persian Gulf map?

I don't see any vehicle (car traffic) shadows while flying the Persian Gulf map. I do see them in Caucasus and Nevada.

 

Is this an option on my end, or something map specific?

 

Cars and vehicles without shadows look like they are flying. (Sometimes they are actually flying.)
