Create cockpit mod

I would like to create a mod for the cockpit for the Gazelle (just as there is a very nice mod for the F-5 https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3305829/). I'm still a bloody beginner in this topic, so I would like to know 1) you can do it 'so easily' 2) if yes, what do I need for it (software, cockpit template, ...) 3) you may still know Resources where I can read about this topic, youtube videos, ...
