SoundtrackTJ Posted July 23, 2020 Posted July 23, 2020 Hello - I'm brand new just trying to get things setup. I have Saitek Pro Pedals and the Thrustmaster Hotas Warthog setup. As you can see from the screenshot I'm having a lot of trouble. Just trying to do a very simple vanilla mapping here in the free to use TF-51D and I'm experiencing two issues from what I can tell: 1) There is a large input/pull happening towards the "left" (if you can see in screenshot) on the pitch (which for some reason is labeled JOY_Y) and the roll (labeled JOY_X) 2) Why are there two inputs named JOY_Y, JOY_X, and JOY_Z I am planning on purchasing and learning to fly the F18 but wanted to start with a simple, easy example here. Hoping I can get some help for a super newbie. Any advice appreciated. Thank you!
Sprool Posted July 24, 2020 Posted July 24, 2020 Especially on the joystick axes its vital there's only one controller giving the input. All 3 you show here are fighting to control same axis. Delete the ones you dont need to leave only one for each control parameter. THen use tune axis to modify settings, null zone, curves.
