TGP - can't designate (open beta)

Stopped playing a few months ago until more F-16 systems were released. Started flying today and for the life of me, I cannot designate a target on TGP.

 

Scenario:

2 x GBU12, 1xTGP, 13000 feet, 8 trucks parked up on roadside by STP1.

Circling the trucks from 10nm out.

Master Arm on

Laser Arm

HDPT already on

SMS Page - Select GBU, Prof2 (CCRP)

STR PT set to 1

TGP to SOI

I can see the trucks near the steerpoint, TGP is locked to STP

TMS up and slew to truck

TMS UP again to lock truck, but nothing happens, the crosshair continues to move

I try TMS right as the truck is stationary - nothing, crosshair continues to slew

TMS Down just slews the crosshair back to STP.

I've tried in WHOT, BHOT and TV but still the same results.

 

I'm obviously missing something. Anyone help?

Make sure it says "point" for pointtrack after TMS up.

 

You can slew around, TMS up goes for areatrack, TMS up again is pointtrack and TMS up AGAIN is slewing around. So most likely you jumped point track...

I fixed it, I think...I remember reading about this months ago...I had to set a dead zone on my radar cursor axis
