Stang1606688895 Posted September 3, 2020 Posted September 3, 2020 Hey everyone. I was intending to use my WW F-18 set up with other twin-engined aircraft in DCS, but I cannot get the switches on the start panel (the big panel attached to the throttle) to be detected for assignment to functions in other aircraft. The throttle and stick buttons all work fine. Any idea how to do this? Thanks!! 'Stang

Ryzen 9 7950X3D - MSI MAG X670E TomaHawk MB, ASUS ROG Ryujin III 360 AIO 64gig Corsair DDR5@6000, Gigabyte GeForce RTX 4090 AORUS Winwing Super Taurus, Orion2, TO / Combat panels, Collective with Topgun MIP Winwing Skywalker pedals, NLR Boeing Mil Edition Simpit, 55" Samsung Odyssey Ark, Trackir
Stang1606688895 Posted September 3, 2020 Author Posted September 3, 2020 It shows up as Win Wing F18 throttle, but when I try ro assign a function to a switch by selecting the function and moving the desired switch, the switch is not detected. They all work in the Hornet though. :\

Weegie Posted September 3, 2020 Posted September 3, 2020 Probably the fact that the Throttle and Start Up Panel come in on 2 different USBs so Windows assigns them as 2 devices. If assigning switches the Start Up panel needs to be used not the throttle That one "got me" too for a little while
