Based on these pics from Dubai 2011, SD10 can be carried on inner pylons

As can be seen the inner pylon can carry MRAAM (medium range air to air missile)

I don't know this is true or not. I am just giving Deka something new I found :)

Sure maybe it’s in a couple brochures and a model, but that could either mean “totally capable” or “it could if it had the pylon and software to do it.” If it’s possible, why has it never been shown?

 

There’s just so many times in Defence where they advertise a possible capability, and don’t bother to actually integrate the ability into the airplane unless a customer explicitly wants that feature. Like the JF-17 having a radar HUD being advertised and possible but not in the delivered product.
