[NO BUG]Radar loses weapon SET settings when going from TWS back to RWS

Following up on https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=285981&page=2 around post #13, the radar loses the SET settings (azimuth, bars, etc.) for weapons if I go from RWS to TWS and back to RWS. Is this correct behaviour?

This is not a bug. The only way to invoke the stored SET settings is to select a weapon with the weapon select switch that is different from the currently selected weapon while the radar is in RWS or GACQ.

I appreciate that is current behaviour. Do you know this is correct IRL?

 

Logically, it makes no sense to me that when in TWS it is necessary to do the following to return to the SET settings for a weapon:

1) return to RWS

2) weapon select another weapon

3) reselect original weapon.

 

I'm only raising the topic to find out if the behaviour is correct as per real life.
