[CHK] Axis control for TV/IR too slow

Recommended Posts

Posted (edited)

The axis control for TV/IR missiles needs to be faster at max deflection, especially when zoomed in. Right now it is not possible to track a ground target just a few degrees below horizon, like on a screenshot below. The ground moves faster, than you can slew the seeker.

You haven’t tried ground stabilizing with lock button first? Have you adjusted the slew control in special settings to max speed? I believe default is .6, but you can turn it up to 1.0

If anything you can use S1 down to make HUD SOI and them ground stabilize the cursor near expected target and it should slave to it, you are trying to fire C-701?

You can't ground stabilize if the target is too far away. But thanks for the tip, I'll play with those special settings, haven't noticed them before :)

For HUD designation, the limit is exactly 10nm it must be within to ground stabilize, don’t think there’s many ways you could get more then 10nm out of C-701, it is more like hellfire or brimstone then Maverick.

Hope it works out
