I am trying to get an AI helicopter to follow me then break off and engage ground targets when I command him via the radio menu. I've set up a triggered action (search and engage in zone) to do this which works fine. I have then set up another triggered action for him to re join.

The problem I am having is he will complete the search and engage in zone command before rejoining which means he tries to destroy everything first which obviously takes a very long time.

Is there a way to cancel/ignore his current task and make him do as he's told?

I managed to solve it by having a flag that activated for each task. When one flag was on the other was off.
