Throttle engine off / on function

Is there any way , apart from using joystick gremlin, of making the throttle behave as in the real jet using the idle detents and finger lifts, IE, lifting finger lifts and advancing the throttles over the detent has the same effect as pressing shift / home and alt / home during start up ?

 

Currently I cant used Gremlin due to some unresolved installation issues.....

You set idle cutoff for both throttles as per this post...last picture.

The finger lifts don't register any button presses when you go to A/B
