Use a numpad for multiple purposes

Hi,

 

 

I have a cheap USB numpad that I use in VR. I would like to associate a multi position selector from the Throttle (VIRPIL, not yet received), so that I can change what the numpad does on the fly (Such as M2KC INS numpad, views, frequency input, ...)

 

 

Is there a simple way to do this?

UCR + Vjoy + Interception Driver.

With all that you could remap your keypad to Vjoy button. Without affecting your normal keyboard mapping.

 

I wouldn't call that a simple solution however..

 

Ps : Then for the Virpil selector changing the "layer" on the fly I think UCR have some "mode" and/or "condition" feature. If not, Joystick Gremlin sure do. But you'll have to create an additional Vjoy. As a single Vjoy can't be used by UCR and Gremlin at the same time.
