Multiplayer overcast with Thunderstorm

Hi,

 

I've been testing playing Online with Overcast with Thunderstorm enable. Players have been reporting in. I've also experience this issue when its hosting by someone else.

 

The rain is frozen in mid air. We named it the Matrix effect lol. Woundering if this is a bug itself.... Works sometimes, sometimes not. I would not think its a connection issue but then again I might be wrong. My connection; 5mbit down 1mbit up. When hosting I dont see this effect only people comming in to the server. Then again its not all. Some will see the rain drops fall. Others stuck in mid air.

 

True I know playing overcast online is truly demanding, But I have the hardware for it . Im woundering what could be the cause....

ASUS P5P800 LGA775 5 PCI 8X AGP 1x GBL, DDR400

Intel P4 3.4G 1MB (550) 800FSB LGA775

KHX3200AK2/1G 1024MB 400MHz DDR Non-ECC CL2 DIMM

MSI Fx5900xt<- I know its my bottle neck, will fix that soon:-)

Also note that Ati 9800xt users reported the issue also. It has to be bug. Failed to see where issue would be hardware or connection related. Since issue seem to happen randomly. Shadow settings? If possible you should address it with your online beta testers for testing.
