markturner1960 Posted October 4, 2020 Posted October 4, 2020 Hi, I had a squad flight last night, we are a euro squad, so several accents as well, but my biggest problem in the flight was comms quality. We use SRS, like most squads, and I had real issues with clarity, having to get many directives repeated or they were misheard. I did a flight last week and was shown how to use the datalink radio channels and set these up as MIDS 1 & 2. These channels by comparison were crystal clear .... Why is this and is there any way to improve the clarity of the SRS channels? I appreciate they maybe sound “real” -but if this at the expense of being able to hear commands etc properly, then it’s not ideal.... System specs: PC1 :Scan 3XS Ryzen 5900X, 64GB Corsair veng DDR4 3600, EVGA GTX 3090 Win 10, Quest Pro, Samsung Odyssey G9 Neo monitor.
