I don't know if anyone posted this before but, how do you make AI aircraft playable. I know about the "humancockpit = yes" tune but, the flight dynamics does not work properly. Is there anything else that I have to edit to make the aircraft handle normally?

First - I'm not sure this can actually be done & it's based on a sketch memory of reading something I wasn't paying much attention to, but - I have an idea that somewhere in one of those mod threads, while discussing adding new aircraft, there was something mentioned about editing a value to adjust the weight of the model - if you could find that you could adjust the weight till you got a thrust to weight ratio that was right for the actual planes, given the Su-33's thrust (which I think all the humancockpit = yes planes have ...)

found in the blackbird mod thread :

The weight doesn't matter much, what counts if the payload capibility, you can have a plane that has an empty weight of 1 kg and a max take off weight of 100000, the game somehow takes that range (1-100000 kg) and uses it for the FM handling characteristics. So decreasing weight won't work, you also need to reduce the max payload weight, and fuel load. In fact, the fuel load is the problem, as the minimum is 20%, so you need a total fuel weight of no more than 9400 kg, or something like that. But not 40000 kg, as it will make the plane unflyable.

Best way to do it is experiment with weights and see what works best. Just watsch out that you don't load up more fuel than the maximum weight of the plane, then lomac will crash.

Cheers.

The most funny aircraft that way is Il-78 (tanker).

Heavy, able to refuel other planes, and need very long runway to get in the air. :)

Я вижу тебя пока еще целым -
