Ziptie Posted October 25, 2020 Posted October 25, 2020 Maybe we will see some of this in our beloved Hog one day. https://www.thedrive.com/the-war-zone/37233/the-a-10-warthog-is-preparing-for-its-biggest-upgrade-in-over-a-decade If the recent release of the "II" and the prior version of the A10C are any indication - I'd say there is a strong possibility that the incoming upgrades for the real life A10C will eventually make it into DCS. That being said, I'd wager that wouldn't happen anytime within the next 10 years - probably more like 15 to 20 - due to classified systems/tactics of fully current/operational aircraft and then the time to code it for civilian use (converted from mil spec sim use). Similar process to what the A10C "II" went thru after the Air Force's needs led to an upgraded version their pilots needed for training.
