Mrtanqueray Posted November 2, 2020 Posted November 2, 2020 Hi all, I have a CH Pro throttle, which generally works well, but one of the directions on one of the hat switches is displaying weird behavior. All buttons (including the one in question) are confirmed as working in windows, and can be successfully bound in DCS. Despite that, whatever function is bound to this particular direction on this particular hat switch will not register in game; this is true across all modules. Given that the switch registers as working in the 'set up USB game controllers' dialogue and can successfully bound to whatever in DCS I feel this should be fixable but I'm stumped. Have any of you encountered this before? Thanks!
rob10 Posted November 2, 2020 Posted November 2, 2020 This may seem weird, but check the UI and General binding layers (and if you have the addon GPS check any layer for it) and make sure that it isn't bound there. You may not have assigned it there knowingly, but from previous recent posts there seem to be a number of people running into a similar issue and that's what's causing it. For whatever reason, these layers override module bindings and it won't throw up a warning that you've got a double binding when you assign it.
