Home Fries Posted November 10, 2020 Posted November 10, 2020 With each patch, it is prudent to open missions and re-save them in the latest version to ensure maximum compatibility. For people who run servers with a lot of missions, this becomes cumbersome. What I would love to see is either a separate EXE or a DCS command line argument that will open a miz file, read the ME lua files, parse the miz for any necessary changes (like the regular ME does right now), and then save the file that conforms to the latest version (optionally backing up the original file). Something like this would reduce the time to update missions at the very least, and could ideally be batched for people who manage large servers. 2 -Home Fries My DCS Files and Skins My DCS TARGET Profile for Cougar or Warthog and MFDs F-14B LANTIRN Guide

I agree - I am spending a lot of time opening and resaving missions after each patch and then re uploading them to our server. A mission updater tool would be awesome! 1 [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
