SA-2 with P-19 Breaks Bombing

An SA-2 site with a P-19 SR in the group will break any AI Bombing tasks within it's search range. The AI aircraft approach the target, then start to decent and turn wildly and will never actually release bombs. The AI only need to be within the scan range of the radar, not within or close to the threat range of the SA-2 battery.

 

If the SA-2 site does not have a P-19 the Bombing task works fine. If there is a P-19 present in the same spot, but not in a group with an SA-2, the AI Bombing task works fine. If the P-19 is in the same group as other SAMs (SA-11) the Bombing task works fine.

 

Instructing the AI to ignore threats changes the behavior, but they still won't drop bombs.

 

Attached mission includes two identical AI Hornets attacking identical targets with identical instructions. One is inside the scan range of an SA-2 / P-19 and will not bomb it's target. The other one works fine.
