Shiroka
Not sure if this is a bug or not, but since the latest OB (11/18/2020), the HUD symbology has changed for displaying altitude. When in Alt BARO mode I get two numbers on HUD XXxxx (presumably the baro alt) RXXxxx (presumably the rad alt) - this changes to DXXxxx when over 5,000ft When in Alt RDR mode I get just the second number (RXXxxx or DXXxxx) 1. Is this correct? 2. What does the D mean, and how does it keep calculating the radar height when over 5,000ft?
Zeus67
The latest HUD update includes an AGL indicator below the main altitude indicator. As its name implies, it shows altitude above ground. R when radalt is available and radar altitude is valid D, which means Digital Altitude, is GPS based altitude above ground and it becomes available when the radar altitude is invalid. 3 "Programming today is a race between software engineers striving to build bigger and better idiot-proof programs, and the Universe trying to produce bigger and better idiots. So far, the Universe is winning." "The three most dangerous things in the world are a programmer with a soldering iron, a hardware type with a program patch and a user with an idea."
