While we now have the deck-crews on the US Supercarriers.... I wonder when, or if, we'll ever get ground crews that 'service' your aircraft when you're parked at a normal airbase. I know it would be a massive endeavor to pull off, but I don't see why it shouldn't be possible. Heck, to save on resources, they'll only appear when you approach a parking area after landing, or are occupying one after spawning in.

What would they do? Well, here's the complete list as I see it from the moment you land and are assigned a parking area.

1. When you approach the space, two guys will run out to the edge of the taxiway, holding up wands to mark the space for you.

2. A third guy will give you the appropriate hand signals to come into the space, and eventually stop in the correct spot (similar to what we have now with the guys on the carrier catapult)

3. Once you've stopped, the two wing-walkers will automatically place your wheel chalks, and the director will give you the 'chalks in' hand signal (the wands pointing at eachother over the head).

3A. If your plane needs to be shut down (like the FC3 planes do, or for repairs), they'll hook up ground power and ground air as well. They'll give you the appropriate hand-signals for this as well.

4. After you've selected your ordinance, and requested refueling, two trucks will appear and approach your plane (staying out of the 'safety diamond'). The refueling truck will have a guy stretch a hose to you, and fueling will start.

5. Once all of this is complete, the trucks will back away and disappear, and if you shut down, the crew will give you a 'clear to start' signal.

5A. Once you've started up, they'll disconnect everything, and stand clear.

6. When you're clear to taxi out, the director will guide you out (or you'll automatically turn around in certain cases), and once you're clear of the space, the director will give you a final salute, and you'll be clear to resume your mission.

This is just how I see it, and I'll admit, I'm not good enough in modeling and animation to make it happen..... but I'm sure ED could make it happen.... common guys!
