How to create "solid" objects with Blender?

Hi,

I'am trying to create solid objects with blender, but I'm unable to find tutorials for this kind of objects. I've the very good "helipad" tutorial, but it creates a "inconsistent" object. When I say "solid" it means that object can be stacked one on the other. I've found on this site this kind of "stackable" object which is a "warning sign" (very nice...).  here is a little picture to illustrate what I am saying:

Does someone know how, from the helipad example (or anything else), add some properties to this 3D model with BLENDER to make it "solid"?

(I'm not a specialist of Blender!)

Thanks! This is exaclty what I want to do.

The Thread shows how to write scripts. Good!

Do you know a tutorial which explains how to create the collision box "XXX_coll.EDM" (from the "XXX.EDM") with blender?

Thanks!
