Lurker Posted December 17, 2020 Posted December 17, 2020 I was having trouble with the autopilot yesterday (altitude hold) but now reading the manual it looks like I might have skipped a step. So let me ask here again and see if I'm getting it right or I'm missing something in the procedures. So for altitude Hold: 1. Engage Autopilot ON 2. Alt switch ON 3. Wait for A/P Ref light to illuminate, then Press NWS button. What Im unsure of is whether i need to hold NWS or is a simple button press enough? Eagle7907 Posted December 17, 2020 Posted December 17, 2020 Beware that slight stick movement can override and disconnect the AP. Adding a small null zone fixes this problem if it becomes persistent.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro Win 10, AMD FX9590/water cooled, 32GB RAM, 250GB SSD system, 1TB SSD (DCS installed), 2TB HD, Warthog HOTAS, MFG rudders, Track IR 5, LG Ultrawide, Logitech Speakers w/sub, Fans, Case, cell phone, wallet, keys.....printer
