  1. Hi Phoenix I found a fix for mission 4 by Rick! This is the link:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FhJ-Kqac9eA Bye Gibo
  2. T The mission 4 fix already exist! It is by Rick! Thank you Rick! Here is the link:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FhJ-Kqac9eA
  3. The fix worked ok for me but I’m stucked in mission 4 which is bugged too because the hmw stop at some time and the mission do not progress. Can you fix mission 4 either please? Gibo
  4. Same as you; i’m stucked when the Hmwees don’t turn!
  5. Are you sure it was the radar that switched between the bandit and the missile or it was just the TCS that switched with the radar still locking the target? It happens to me a lot of time that the TCS follow the missile instead of the bandit but the radar is still STT on the target.
  6. Is there any news about the fixing of this mission? It is bugged since April. Thanks for your answer.
  7. Here is the track. I put the #1 wp exactly on the Bm21 but, as you can see, on Lantirn is completely invisible. Thanks for your help. Gibo Lantirn.trk
  8. Is there any news about this issue? If not fixed the Lantirn is piratically useless. Thanks for your answer
  9. If you are interested there are a lot of information about jamming in the F14 in FlyAndWire. https://flyandwire.com/2022/12/07/electronic-countermeasures-missiles-employment-part-iii/
  10. If you need to dispense chaff you can do it switching to Rio seat and toggle the FLARE MODE SWITCH to "norm" from the normal position "pilot"; this switch in "pilot" allow the pilot to release flare but when in "normal" for each press of the countermeasure button by the pilot one chaff is released; the problem is that you have to set this in advance to have it already set when you enter combat because is not practical to do it when already engaged.
  11. It is reported in one of the thread regarding the Phoenix but I do not remember which one and I also heard that in one ex pilot interview
  12. One of the many variables that you have to consider is the height of the target; the Phoenix range is highly affected by launch altitude and the target altitude (low altitude means thicker air so more drag and the Phoenix is very susceptible to drag because is a big missile). The golden rule to be used is determine the effective range multiplying target height for 1,5 ; so if the target is at 10.000 ft the effective range is 15 nm if the target is at 35.000 ft the effective range is 52,5 nm.
  13. same for me; I don't think is a bug but a problem connected with the Jester Lantirn handling
  14. You have to go to Jester position and search the Flare mode button; the button is 3 way Mult, Norm and Pilot, every position different from pilot enable the pilot to dispense chaff wile pilot position allow the pilot to dispense flare
  15. I've had two consecutive freezes in the last mission (Recon)of Operation Sandworm campaign. The freezes happened near the end of the mission (wich is a long one) when I approced the Carrier to land. Hoping to help to solve the problem I attach the log file. dcs.log
  16. Is the mission still bugged? I purchased the campaign but can't complete mission 5 (fly at 160 kts for a long time but nothing happens and if you deviate or accelerate you get the "terminate" message).
  17. I also have this problem; the mission "watch the devildog" for example is really harder with the Jester lantirn system because Jester can't find the targets. Maybe we can ask Heatblur to allow us to choose between the old system and the new one with an option. Gibo
  18. Rafa as i bought the Tomcat I was in real truble to connect with the tanker as you are now; i tried to match the tanker speed (watching my speed with Ctrl Y) but i could not link with it because there werw too much oscillations Then I tried something different and suddently i could link witn the tanker and with a little of practice i could even complete the refuel. The trick that saved me was try not to match the tanker speed exactly but approch the basket wit almost 2, 3 kts of overspeed; then when you connect reduce the gas a little to stay connected watching the pod from the basket is coming out as a reference pont and the tanker with your peripherical sight. Using this method the approch is much more stable and there are less oscillations and it is esyer to preview the basket movements as it get close to the probe of your aircraft. With that trick I can refuel now even without track ir. I hope this can halp you to sort out a very frustrating limitation.
  19. Tested yesterday. The redouts gives out TA angle and it woks fine.
  20. In changelog version DCS 2.7.7.15038 the problem is reported as fixed is it true? Does anyone tested it?
  21. Yesterday I redid the mission and I chose not to refuel; after a while marshall gave me the green light to land and I landed with 1,700 tanks. Shortly before the end of the mission, before having the option to refuel, Reflected says that everyone must choose between the existing options (refueling or not); perhaps therefore the impossibility of refueling is intentional.
  22. Did someone try to refuel at night since 2.7? Before this update I was able to refuel without any problem in day or night but today I tried a night refuel mission (first mission of Fear the bones campaign) but i could not even see the tanker. Maybe before 2.7 the night was to bright and other aircraft too easy to spot but after 2.7 it seems impossible to see other aircraft also very close to them even with NVG on. Thanks for your help Gibo
  23. As already posted (see post Please advice at refueling struggling) I also had had a lot of truble to refuel than, with a lot of practice and with some tips, I finally became able to perform refuel. I don't suggest to tuch the curves and my tips are: wings in bombe mode trim to mantain a good altitude stability compared to the tanker adjust your seat (lower it) to see the Tanker well watch the tanker speed and memorize it; than call your IAS in the cockpit (i think the default button is CTRL + Y) and go to catch the basket with 2 kts of speed advantage (that will stabilize your approach to the basket) when you get the basket, to mantain the linking, climb some feet and watch the pod connected to the basket and with your periferical view watch the tanker to match its speed and make adjusment to mantain the contact I find usefull to use the speed brake with hotas button to open it for a fraction of second and close it immediatly to reach the disered speed before contact and to mantain the speed when linked to the basket
  24. I'm playng the beautiful Bio's Campaign Zone 5 and most of the mission are dogfight missions. In these missions it is for me very difficult to defeat the aggressor (mostly F5) in ACM. I know that turn rate has tanked with the update of last november but I would like to know if other players are experiencing my difficulties in dogfighting or it is just my inability. Thank you for your replay
