yngvef Posted December 19, 2020 Posted December 19, 2020 I've probably missed something somewhere, but I can't move the throttle if I have the AV-8B start a mission on the ground. Problem exists in both single and multiplayer. Is there an idle lock or something? If I start the mission in the air, the throttle works normally, so the axis is set up properly. I've looked in the manual, searched the forum and gone through the keybindings, but I can't figure it out. Please help.
HedgeSlammer Posted December 19, 2020 Posted December 19, 2020 Hi, I've just been having the same problem, then noticed that the parking brake is now on by default. Switch it off & you're good, although the engine seems to have had an upgrade - even sitting in idle is enough to start cruising along the parking lot! 1
yngvef Posted December 19, 2020 Author Posted December 19, 2020 Yep, I feel as stupid as I expected I would. It was the parking brake.
HedgeSlammer Posted December 19, 2020 Posted December 19, 2020 No worries - I've only just worked out that the STOP lever works differently now, and as for the TPOD and Auto bombing.....
yngvef Posted December 19, 2020 Author Posted December 19, 2020 Yeah, it's been a while since I've flown the Harrier, so I have to learn what's new. Thanks for replying so quickly by the way.
