-razor- Posted June 6, 2008 Posted June 6, 2008 Okay! i have now got my hands on a copy of 3d studio max 7 from school. (took some time) and i have a finnish model of a Jdam. by reading on lockon.ru i have done all steps and not using more than 2000 polygons, and i used 18 sides on my cylinder, but one thing i dont understand is the "pylon connectors" what is that, and how do i put them on my model, i have googled and searched on youtube, but no result, plz help =)
Highwayman-Ed Posted June 6, 2008 Posted June 6, 2008 This is the point at which your model will attach to the pylon of the aircraft. I don't know a great deal about 3d modelling myself, but something that is important for you to bear in mind is that you need to set an argument (usually #3) that allows the bomb to rotate along its logditudal axis - / + 90 degrees so that it may be mounted at various angles such as upon a Tripple Ejector Rack.
