JF-17 Thunder issues using VAICOM PRO

I'm trying the JF-17 in the current free-to-fly period and liking it very much. Except for the VAICOM integration. I'm having the following troubles and wondering if I'm alone:

1. When I use "Select Tunes Radio" a select command does tune the radio, as verified by successful transmission to ATC. The frequency also shows on the SRS overlay. However the displayed channel in the cockpit does not change. I assume this is a problem with the module, not with VAICOM. It would be nice to get the cockpit display working to show the actual tuning.
2. VAICOM' does not play nicely when SRS PTT Mapping is enabled. Symptoms include:
   1. No frequency displayed in the VAICOM window when transmitting.
   2. Only TX1 is available as a PTT even though SRS is supporting both of the module radios plus an expansion radio.
   3. No TX nodes are available at all unless the PTT switch is set to NORML or SNGL.

Just checked it and I see exactly what you describe too.

 

I've got a my own profile where I can call Airfields for all bases (I think) in Caucasus, Nevada, Syria and Gulf maps, but that tunes the radio manually and although it shows on radio panel because it's a manual frequency select it doessn't come up on the UFC.

 

Can't help with SRS at the moment as I'm not currently using it, if I do get the chance I'll take a look

Is the JF-17 working at all right now with easy comms off? I can't get radio comms with the tower at all unless I switch easy comms on...

Im using VAICOM with the JF-17 without enabling SRS PTT and it works fine. In fact we can use comm 2 channel 199 with datalink and transmit in comm2.
