Hi All,

 

Just waiting on plans from Stang for the F18 and wondered if anyone in the UK had a good contact for the Cnc cutting.

I'm close to London but I guess anywhere will do.

Have you sent them the plans already?  I got 2 quotes for Stang's Viper plans, one was about 1k GBP +VAT, the second about 1.5k +VAT.  I'm holding off due to an impending house move.  If your local company can do better than that would you mind sharing the details? I imagine the job size for the Hornet/Viper are similar?

Yeah I've sent the plans over just waiting for a slot to get the cutting done.

After chatting I decided to take out the screw holes as I'm capable of doing these. It surprising how much extra they cost.

I've also split the build.

So for the floor, front panel and sides im looking at something in the region of £480 incl vat. Oh and the engraving went as well.

2nd stage will be the seat, bow and front panel extras for the mfds etc.

As soon as I get a confirmation email I'll let you know.

Try speaking to your guys and ask to leave out the screw holes. I think you'll be surprised at the cost saving.
