Realistic M2000 fuel tanks

Hi,

 

I'm interested in original M2000 1,700 liter drop tank 3D model. The one we have in LO at pylons 3 and 9 doesn't look like the real M2000 tank.

 

So did anyone create this fuel tank model, perhaps guys from ADA team?!

Isn't there a standalone Fuel tank mod?! I believe Knell had it WIP!

 

I have AdA mod downloaded but not installed. Can U please say correct filename and location of that fuel tank in ADA, my guess is since M2000 is replacing MiG-29, those tanks are probably PTB-1150 or PTB-2000!

 

I'd like to add tank 3D model into LOFC1.12a so can U please point out which files from ADA do I copy into LockOn folder?!

how come you did not include Rafale into AdA mod?!

The Rafale was not available yet when AdA-Mod V1 has been released. But it will probably be included in the second version of AdA-mod with it's own cockpit.

There is a Rafle mod but this is a "stand alone".

 

I'm not sure but I think that Rafale model is really coool but it is not as detailed as the Wlamis F-15 or the Knell & Barbsman's Mirage F-1. I think a new rafale model will come out... but I don't know when.

 

For the use of the PTB-2000 you should directly ask on the ADA-Mods forum to know what to do.

 

You could use the ADA-mod or some pieces of the ADA for a private use but if you want to realease an other public mod with the ADA's team work, you need the consent of Hubman or Barbsman.

The tanks on the picture (not visible for us, I spot it only when I quoted your post : you can't hotlink pics from airliners, better link to it) are the RPL-541 & 542 (those are real names, not in AdA mod). And they are 2,000 liters tanks, not 1,700. ;)

IRL, they are too big to be supersonic capable (although... I heard that... some pilot... recently... :music_whistling:)

 

An yes, in LO we replaced the MiG's original tanks. :smartass:
