Nuggetz Posted January 28, 2021 Posted January 28, 2021 (edited) Hello, each time I complete the Gauntlet mission in the Syria map with the F16 the HUD pitch ladder is displaced at an odd angle making it impossible to judge the approach accurately into Ramat David airbase. This results in some less than impressive landings if not a spectacular crash. As this has happened a number of times I don’t think it’s me. A Bug? Thanks in advance. Florence201 Posted January 31, 2021 Posted January 31, 2021 May well be either strong cross wind, or INS alignment problem [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Nuggetz Posted January 31, 2021 Author Posted January 31, 2021 Thank you for your reply. I did have some initial thoughts about INS alignment. I will have to keep an eye on this. I would say I would try an in-flight alignment, but I find I am usually so low on fuel I can’t spare the time and end up landing and doing my best to judge it.
