1066 ram in a mobo with 800 support

My corsair ram fried on me the last few days, and i sold 4 gigs of my ram before this happened. Im down to 2 gigs only at the moment, but since Im having to purchase new ram, Im looking to get some Corsair Dominator 1066 DDR2 ram to replace the DDR2-800 ram I currently have.

I already have this fan for the memory, but if I get this kit, Ill have to buy it "AGAIN". But before I commit, I need to know if this would work with the DIMM slots I have in my motherboard. I read on the nvidia sli forums that someone did just this on the same type of motherboard I have, but I didnt get any more information than "I have DDR2-1066 ram on an P7N platinum".
