Lag/Stutter in "Adjust Controls" dialog

I don't know if this topic is really related to Virpil Controls or it is a general issue but:

 

When I open the "Adjust Controls" dialog in DCS, the game lags/stutters or even crashes completely. This issue started to appear since I use virpil components. Before that I just had a Saitek X56 HOTAS plugged in and there was no stuttering.

 

Outside of the Adjust Controls dialog everything works normal (and lag-free). Hot pluging is disabled in the options.

 

Anybody know what can cause this issue?
