[RESOLVED] HUD - Horizon Secours During Cold Start

Since the last update, I have not been able to properly power on the HUD in the Mirage on cold start. As shown in the attached screenshot, the HUD only displays Horizon Secours after powering on. I'm not sure if this is a bug or if something has changed in the startup procedure that I'm not aware of. I tried running a repair of DCS. Any help would be appreciated.

It's because your INS is off I think.

 

If you power it on, you should get the normal HUD but with wrong infos and once the INS is aligned you get an accurate HUD.

Also, you didn't uncage your ADI. And you likely didn't power it either.

@Rayak I turned on my INS and turned on my HUD and it looks right now. Thanks! Apparently they've changed the way that works because I've been flying the Mirage for about a year and a half and have always been able to use the HUD without turning on INS.

 

@Kercheiz I found out that ADI uncages differently now. I didn't realize that I had to hold in the knob on the ADI and then rotate it to uncage.
