Soundproblems

Hi - I'm new to Lock-on and have just bought me one :)

But I found out that with 1.0 or 1.2 after Update the Cockpit-Sounds and all Weapon-Sounds are off and nothing to hear just the warning sounds...

 

Under Options - Audio all is switched on and all volumes are nearly 80%-100%

 

I'm driving WinXP - SP1 - DirectX9.0c (Hardware-Music-Acceleration off)

ASUS A7N8X-X with Onboard AC'97 - newest driver.

 

Am I stupid or is there a trick to get it working - or is just my SoundCard wrong and I need to get a SoundBlaster from Creative - till now all games just work fine and I think I can handle PCs - so pl don't call me a noob :)

btw. in germany near my location has opened a new pub with 360degree Flight-Sim running LockOn

So I came up with this flightsim and left my cockpit of FS2004 :)

First I would try re-installing the game. If no other sounds are effected, make sure the sound files are ok. Play them through your Media player or winamp or whatever you use for wav files. Try installing zzzspace's sound pack. Also, try hardware acceleration at different levels to see if this changes anything.
