flankerjun Posted February 14, 2021 Posted February 14, 2021 I use an 4K monitor, for a long time that i hardly can visual find the target, in ACM,even the hostile is 3miles or even closer,i still can not see it,today i found if i set it to 1920*1080,it will be much better, does the resolution has influence on the visual distance?? Harker Posted February 14, 2021 Posted February 14, 2021 This is not a Hornet-related issue, but anyway, yes, your resolution influences unit visibility. DCS does not do any kind of unit size scaling, so units can be as small as a few pixels. In 2160p, this can make it difficult to spot things. 1080p has a quarter of the resolution, so the smallest possible apparent size is 4 times bigger, making it easier to spot stuff. 1 The vCVW-17 is looking for Hornet and Tomcat pilots and RIOs.
